Nobel & Neutrinos: Dr. Art McDonald, Winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics

In this special interview Kehlan talks with Dr. Art McDonald, who won the 2015 Nobel Prize for Physics alongside Takaaki Kajita of Japan.

From the late 1960’s the idea the neutrinos, subatomic particles produced by the decay of radioactive elements and lack an electric charge, had mass had been one growing traction.

However it with was only when Dr. Art McDonald and his team demonstrated that the do indeed have mass that this idea was confirmed. This breakthrough has led to a re-evaluation of our own universe and our sun.

In this very special interview Art talks about how the discovery came about and moment when they knew they had discovered something special.
